Information Management - Environmental Management, GIS
In the scope of environmental management we develop tailor-made database and GIS solutions. All relevant documents (expertises, reports, inspections, chemical analyses ...) will be included and documented. We support you with the collection, processing, prepartion and interpretation of your data, create maps and develop mobile GIS-applications or program data interfaces.
Setup of GIS projects
The basis for working with a geoinformation system lies in the available data stock. By conducting a needs assessment we can get an overview of your existing data and offer you a custom-made database/ GIS system subsequently.
All data will be collected in a database as this enables us to adapt the user interface as well as the data structure to the needs of our customers. The data can be visualized and interpreted by connecting it with a geoinformation system.
Our services range from GIS-supported data interpretation that are handed out as planning documents to the hand-over of GIS-projects with predefined thematic interpretations and planning documents in views and layouts.
Our GIS projects are used for » contaminated site management,» hydrogeological problems, climatological interpretations or as support of » due diligence site investigations.
Mobile GIS
Often, it is necessary to access informartion directly on site. What geological properties can be expected on the site? At which depth can the groundwater level be expected? Or infrastructural data is required, e.g. the position of cables or shafts.
With the data included in » UMIS (Universal Mobile Information System) and the PDA software ARCPad from ESRI you are always up-to-date. Next to the software you need a Handheld PC and a GPS receiver. ARCPad contains all basic functions for the data collection and data query known from ArcView. Technical data can be copied from the database to the Handheld PC by using special data interfaces. Furthermore, it is possible to store aerial images and topographic maps. By using a GPS-signal the visible map section can always be centered around the current position. The data collection on site can be simplified by using adapted forms.
