Waste - Resource Recovery

The  power generation from waste is gaining steadily in importance. With an adjusted combustion technology it is possible to recover energy for power and heat generation in » biomass power plants (e.g. from wood).

Separately collected or sorted organic waste components or renewable ressources can be converted to » biogas (methane conc. >55Vol%) by fermentation. In that way it is also possible to generate power and heat with gas engine/ generator plants. Homogenous plastics can be recycled. Plastic mixtures are often used in derived fuel combustion plants.

Waste mixtures are converted to energy in » muncipal waste incineration plants.

Furthermore, numerous technical processes exist to reconvert waste fractions into their original components. e.g. plastics to oil or combustible materials. However, this is not state of the art yet.

Based on operation experience of such facilities we can offer competent planning and consulting services. For the planning of power generation plants we set up a site specific project team consisting of mechanical, process, civil and electrical engineers. We are happy to complete the planning and consulting on site in direct cooperation with our customers until the reports and planning documents are handed in.
